I met Matt last year almost by accident. His book was mentioned in the same stack of books coming out in 2016 that mine was. I asked for an advance copy of his book, Finding God in the Ruins, and he graciously sent it. I love this book. It says everything I wish I could write about God, suffering, and all of the very empty things many Christians say about what should happen to you in terms of healing.
