Lynne Hybels says that when we are overwhelmed with despair because of what we see in the world, we have two options. We can disengage, and the despair eventually goes away, but we become less human. Or we can engage, but when we do, we need to know that our hearts will break.Lynne partners with women in conflict zones who are committed to reconciliation, peacemaking, caring for refugees, and creating a better future for their children. Actively engaged in One Million Thumbprints, Lynne has traveled extensively to war zones, visiting people in Syria, Iraq, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Israel/Palestine. Lynne has a quiet spirit but a huge and fierce heart to see God's love and justice be done in the world. She is committed to sharing stories so that we can respond to the world's crises with God's love instead of fear.In this episode, we talked specifically about what we can do about the refugee crisis.
