 I wrote this book because I believe fear, brokenness, and isolation are not the end of the story.I wrote it because I am seeing restoration happen in small and large ways all around me.I wrote it because there is a movement of peacemakers who are quietly making a huge difference in the world today.I wrote it to shows that the sometimes beguiling, bewildering Scriptures are headed somewhere: toward shalom (wholeness, completeness). Like Beginnings, I explored some of the great (and a few odd) stories of the Bible, turning them over and interrogating them to find where its story informs our story, right here and now. The Bible isn't a wooden moral guide or instruction manual. It's a tragic, comic, and ultimately redemptive story about the restoration of all things, and how God wants partners in that work.I wrote it because I needed to tell the story of my sometimes beguiling, bewildering and ultimately redemptive life. If I wrote it well, you will be invited to tell your own story as you read mine. Good books should take you somewhere, and I believe this book will offer you a way to join the work of restoration that is already happening all around you.Wanna help me get this story out there?Please consider joining my launch team. • Pre-order Whole.
